Take Time ~ (if you can)

Today was a really busy day. I helped in Alanna's classroom. The cookies from the school fundraiser came in today, so we delivered grandma her cookies (THANK YOU for ordering 14 of them, Grandma) We REALLY appreciate the way you support our school. We got to Applebees for the schools fundraiser dinner and ran into Ms. Weed and her girls so they ate with us. Our favorite part was, of course, dessert. Afterwards we attended the budget meeting at the local high school to voice our opinion on where the school could cut their additional 3.5% cuts. My strong opinion is NO WHERE ... NO MORE BUGET CUTS for education!!! ENOUGH is ENOUGH. I learned of an organization that supports quality education for Nevadan's. Check out their website, get educated, have a voice ... and make it known. If you can sacrifice some time, help in the classroom (the teacher GREATLY appreciate it), attend PTA meetings (you only volunteer the time you have) ... there is no pressure to always be at the school.
