He is so stinkin' cute. Daddy got home from work and Preston decided to take a late nap ~ oh how he loves his daddy.

No More Hairy Legs ~
The hair on her legs had bothered her enough ... after talking to her dad about it, we agreed she could use anything other than a razor to rid her legs of it. I promised her that today we would finally make it to Wal-Mart to buy the product. That was until after a day at the pool and Peyton waking up with a fever. Rather than going to the store, we ended up at the pediatrician and pharmacy. Aunt Tye came to her rescue (really mine ~ so I wouldn't be a liar), and took her to the store for me. She was a little embarrassed that I wanted to take pictures, but let me anyway. I probably take more pictures than necessary, but that's what you get when you have a mom who is a photographer.

Grateful ~
We had a great evening at the Eckersley's ... didn't realize until it was time to blog that I didn't get pics of everyone there. Just mostly my kids! We are so grateful that we have the friends in our lives that we do :)
First Suit ~
When Peyton brought home the information for Kindergarten graduation he was adamant Mrs. Aukamp wanted the kids to dress really nice. He asked if we'd buy him a suit ... very specifically a black one, with a white long sleeve shirt and a black tie. So as a family we were found the day before graduation at JcPenny shopping for a suit. He got exactly what he wanted with the exception of a black tie ... we talked him into a stripped one. I am not sure Carl knows how much I appreciate his involvement in our boys lives ~ Peyton lights up when he has his dad's attention. He wants to be JUST like his dad!

Fourth of July ~
This year we spend the 4th of July eating at the Red Rock buffet and doing sparklers with friends. It was very low key, relaxing and fun. I did miss watching real fireworks, but the sparklers were fun.

Movie with our Boys ~
Tonight we took our boys to see Toy Story 3. Give them popcorn and treats and they are good to sit through an entire movie. The boys were glued, Peyton laughed so hard & Preston sat in his stroller and kept pointing at the movie screen. Carl and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our peaceful night with our boys.

Sad Baby ... Sad Mommy ~
He was done with his treat .. but I had to get a picture before his bath.
Peyton was Star Student of the week, but his teacher didn't tell me otherwise I would have been at morning ceremonies to watch him receive it :( I missed it, but he was so excited and pleased with himself that he didn't notice because I made a big deal out of getting a picture and he got to pick from the "treasure box".

D.A.R.E.
Kasey graduated from the D.A.R.E. program today. Kevin Janison was the guest speaker; amazingly candid and on the kids level. I am so glad that I was able to attend to support her ... just wish Preston would have behaved a bit better :)
