Quick Update ~
Our home has been really busy the last couple weeks. I try to just enjoy the minute that I am in. It has been fun keeping up with homework myself and with the kids. The kids grow and change so fast, I try to not blink.
I have two weeks of cleaning and then I am down to just the weekends. It will be nice to not make the drive to Boulder City twice a week and have to try and quickly clean before needing to get the kids into bed.
Curtis has earned another handful of merit badges and has a court of honor this Thursday.
Kasey is thoroughly enjoying her teachers and the fourth grade.
Alanna loves her classroom teacher, her GATE teacher and has started dance class and absolutely loves it.
Peyton loves to do school at home and is a little sponge with the information he absorbs.
I love being a wife and mother and couldn't ask for a better way to enjoy and spend my time and energy.

Happy Birthday Son ~
WOW!!! Time surely does fly when you are having fun. I am sort of sad to say that Peyton is 4 today! In a way it feels like he was just born. I wish he could stay a little boy forever. He has such a sweet spirit and is a big helper. He loves to help me around the house and gets excited at the opportunity to get his tools out to help dad fix something. He absolutely adores his older siblings, tries to keep up with them and misses them when they are not here. I am learning to cherish the little moments (a little late, but better now than in 20 years, right?) I enjoy and am grateful that I get to be a stay-at-home mom. It is what I have always wanted to be. :) ~ Thank you Love for the sacrifices you make to ensure our needs are met! ~
We hope you have a wonderful day today Peyton. Happy Birthday!!!
Dad & I love you VERY much!!!

Challenge ~
A fellow photographer awhile back challenged herself to post one picture a day. I have been so inspired by her talent, her kindness and just the person she is ... that I am making the same personal challenge to myself. I hope that through this, I will learn and grow. Thank you Erin for your inspiration!

I love that at three years old, Peyton has learned to make friends. He gets so excited when other kids his age come over and play. He has a couple favorites and Mathew is definitely one of them.

Can't believe I am already 31 ~

My birthday was wonderful thanks to my one of a kind husband and true friends. I spent the entire day at Photoshop World (last of four days). That evening we went to dinner at Yolie's with our friends. I haven't eaten there before. The food was really good, the staff had a very unique sense of humor and we definitely laughed ALOT! They started out by bringing either black bean soup or salad. Then they brought out seven different meats on a sword, one at a time. They were chicken, turkey wrapped in bacon, sausage, tri-tip, sirloin, pork and lamb, They also brought out sides of potatoes, carrots, rice, and rolls. After you tried all seven meats, then you could request more of whatever meat you wanted. You could have as much of anything you wanted.
When we got home Carl gave me gift certificates to H&M, Victoria Secrets and Express. (Thank you Mindi for the advice). :)
