Yes, the school really had a "Hobo Day". The description said to wear clothes that were too big ... Alanna opted out of dressing up, but Kasey and Peyton really wanted to. As you can see Kasey ended up wearing one of my shirts and Peyton was dressed from head to toe (minus pants) in Carl's clothes & shoes. Carl was a bit offended because those are clothes that he actually wears :)

The Kids Will Play While Mom & Dad Are Away ~
The kids will play while mom and dad are away ~ Thank You Toresa for taking such good care of our boys so we could get away for the weekend.
Of all the things I make sure and get pictures of ... I didn't get ONE picture of myself on the Fat Boy we rented and I rode from Vegas to Kingman. It doesn't seem that far of a drive, but we took the long way around and once it got dark, the WIND was horrible. It scared the crap out of me; I thought I was going to be blown off the freeway or run over by a semi truck. Obviously since I am typing this post, I returned in one piece. :)

Baby Shower ~
Tye & Tom are expecting their first baby next month. They seemed to enjoy the shower, even though the turnout wasn't crazy huge. I think my favorite part was the candy game (thanks belinda for sharing) ... even Preston loved the candy game!!!
Red Belt Testing ~
Peyton did an awesome job testing for his red belt. The video below is of him doing his "self defense". Think I'll need to watch out when he is a teenager? Let's hope he stays a well-mannered young man :)

Logandale Fair ~
It was our first time taking the boys to Logandale Fair. It was fun ... but boy was it WINDY! Preston LOVED the animals and Peyton LOVED the Rodeo Princesses ~ Carl & I didn't so much love the sand at the bottom of our drinks or on our corn dogs. Not sure we'll do it again next year, but we'll think about it ??? Thanks Walkers and Rumseys for hanging out with us there :)

A/B Honor Roll ~
We were proud of Alanna for making A/B Honor Roll. We know she's capable of straight A's ... how do you express to your kids you are proud of them, but know they could have done more (better) without them thinking you just expect perfection?
