  1. Way to go Curtis! Uncle Darin and I are proud of you! It takes so much hard work and dedication to earn these merit badges! So many young men aren't willing to earn them or their parents aren't willing to support them in earning them...just remember that in a few years when you are job hunting, employers aren't going to be impressed that you dedicated lots of time to sports, or girls, or your friends like every other young man does....they will be impressed with what you've learned and earned in Boy Scouts! You can proudly put "Eagle Scout" on your resume. Ask your dad. Many people, not just employers, have mentioned the immediate respect they feel toward your dad knowing that he is an Eagle Scout. By earning his Eagle it means that he is an honest, responsible, dependable, community minded, knowledgable, good sport and hard working person! What a HUGE complement to your dad and to what you are working to become! We support you 100% in scouting and can't wait to celebrate your Eagle award with you soon!!!!!! Don't give up...you are almost there!:-)
