I was tagged by cousin Kari ... (first time for everything) so here it goes:
20 years ago I was . . . starting 5th grade at Rex Bell Elementary, my parents were still married, Amber, Rebecca and Bernice were my best friends; I wished I was all grown up (boy ... if I could only go back and relax).
10 years ago I was . . . going to college, working full-time and just living life.
5 years ago I was . . . enjoying being a newlywed to Carl, learning to be a step-mom, enjoying being a mom, getting to know the people in our new ward, waiting for our house to be built, and starting the first of the court battles with the ex's.
3 years ago I was . . . still enjoying being a mom, celebrating the milestone of Peyton turning one, was the Activity Chairperson in our ward, babysitting like crazy, sad that Alanna was starting kindergarten and still in court battles with the ex's (wow long two years).
So far this past year I . . . have been the Stake Cultural Arts Director, ward nursery worker, finally graduated with my Associates Degree in Education, started doing preschool with Peyton, vacationed in Mexico, enjoyed Magic Mountain with and without the kids, found out I need to have another laparoscopy, tried to become more positive and enjoy every moment. :)
Yesterday I . . . went to church, helped Carl get ready to leave town for another week, spent time getting the photos I took of Alanna in her baptism dress the way I wanted them in Photoshop, made breakfast, lunch and dinner, bathed kids and made sure paperwork and clothes were ready for the first day of school ... oh and did dishes.
This next year I will . . . hopefully get pregnant, become a professional Photoshop user, graduate with my second Associates Degree (after this semester I am only one class away), do a lot of photo shoots and build a clientele, read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover, be a good wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. :) At least try to, right!
