Eternal Families ~

This past week, Carl's cousin, Jason lost his dear wife, Ginger. It was unexpected and many people feel the huge loss. They have four small, beautiful children between the ages of 7 and 1. It has literally stopped Carl and I in our tracks and given us a reminder of how important eternal families are. How important it is to have a house of order: financially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. We were waiting to hear when the funeral would be because we were told that the autopsy could take several days to complete. We were so disappointed when we received a call back Thursday night saying that the funeral had been that morning; they didn't know we were planning to attend and with the rush and high emotions ... we didn't get called. We were thinking that maybe it would be on Saturday.

Carl was working in California this week and was but an hour away. We hope that Jason knows that our thoughts and prayers are with them. We can't say that we understand his loss; neither of us has experienced loosing a spouse to physical death. Although, we both have experienced loosing a spouse to their choices of divorce. We love you and are willing to do anything that might lighten your load or lift your spirit. We have thought a lot this week about the plan of salvation; God does have a plan, we just don't always know what it is. Have Faith, Pray, and Remember families can be for eternity (if we do our part). We love you Clinton Family!!!

  1. Sounds like you've had to deal with a lot of hard things lately. This news and situation with your sister.

I know you are strong and faithful, and you will get through this. I know you have a testimony in the Savior and his love but, I also know somethings that knowledge only can make things bearable but still very painful.

We don't know each other very well and I don't know how heart felt this will seem on a blog comment (but it is!) if you need anything (a babysitter so you can take some time or go out with your husband, or a friend to go to lunch with or anything) please call me.

You are in my prayers and the sweet Clinton family. How devastating that must be for them. A mother is so important. How blessed we are to have the gospel and temples. Remember that you are loved.
