Spending New Year's Eve at Disneyland with the kids was awesome. The first ride we did was Buzz Light-year; which was a hit with Peyton (he wanted to do that one everyday at least once, twice, ok the whole time). We didn't leave until almost 2:30 am. The last couple of hours there we didn't have to wait in lines. We did Splash Mountain three times in a row (literally). Needless to say we didn't make it back to Disneyland at opening the next day.
